Hi, I’m Alison...Welcome to my Animal Soul Connection family!
Animals have been part of me as long as I can remember, and honestly, I can’t imagine life without them. Even as a little girl, I only wanted to play with stuffed animals (no dolls for me!). I’ve been so blessed to know the kind of love only animals bring into our lives through sharing my life with many cats, dogs, horses and even goats!
For nearly 30 years, I’ve worked with animals and the people who love them - in humane society work, veterinary clinics, and through my long-running pet sitting business. Over time, that naturally expanded into the past ten years of intuitive connection development, emotional support, holistic wellness, and grief care.
All of that experience shaped what I do today: helping people provide the very best life they can for their beloved animal companions.
Grief has also touched my life in real and personal ways. I’ve loved and lost many animals over the years and I know how deeply that kind of loss hurts. I’ve also experienced profound personal loss, including my mom in 1991 and my dad in 2006. Those experiences changed who I am and helped me understand grief on a very human level. They’re a big part of why I care so much about supporting others with honesty and compassion.
I currently live with five dogs, and the chaos is real! Each dog brings something so special to my life that it’s hard to define. I imagine you feel the same about your animal friend…we love them too much to even put into words. I also have two horses (my dream since I was four years old) who bring me a tremendous amount of joy and peace. My favorite smell in the world is ‘horse’! They all remind me every day how meaningful our relationships with animals truly are.
